Hi TT.net Members. I had a question regarding the removal of the Apexi AVC-R boost controller. If the main computer was removed, and just the Apexi head unit computer, and the car was driven how would this affect boost? Obviously I won't see the normal 14 PSI it was programmed to and when it is in the car. But I wanted to know if anyone knew if the boost would go back to stock or would you see another boost pressure. My Apexi unit was stolen from my vehicle when it was in storage when I was overseas. Yeah crazy story. But I finally got home and drove the car and noticed that the car is only running 7.5 PSI which is normally safety boost. I ran the codes and got the all clear 55. And I ran a compression test and everything had good internal pressure. Any thoughts? I am ordering a new Apexi unit soon. Luckily all the harness is still intact after the theft.
